SUNDAY SERVICES
The first thing most people want to know is “What Sunday Services do we have?”  Here is a summary.

Sunday at 10 am
Like most Anglican churches , our Sunday morning service is Communion.

We use the modern (Common Worship) order of service, with variations for special seasons of the year, like Christmas, Lent or Easter.

We enjoy singing a wide variety of worship songs and traditional hymns

Children are always very welcome, and there is a supervised activity table at the back of the church.

Children's table

Sometimes - Mothering Sunday, or Harvest for example – we have a service more suitable for all ages together. We like being flexible, and change our service format to suit the needs of particular Sundays.

We are not a large number - if we reach 35 on Sunday morning, the church feels quite full. Of course, we always like making new friendships, while giving people the space to come and go as they wish.  Refreshments are served after every morning service.

Something else to note!  In winter when the church is hard to heat, we often move into the Church Hall. We can relax in the warm building, and enjoy the more informal atmosphere for the Service.

Sunday at 6 pm
Sunday Evening Services are in church, about twice per month. We also visit our local care homes, where residents and staff enjoy meeting us as old friends.  Prayers, a Bible Reading, and favourite hymns make up these occasions.

Once a month we hold a joint Evening Service with Moxley Methodists.

MID-WEEK EVENTS

Thursday at 10 am
     (Cancelled until further notice)

Thursday Evening
This has become our regular spot for mid-week activity. We often hold groups such as Alpha, or an informal evening service. Our PCC (Parochial Church Council) also meets on Thursdays, every month or two.
